AT&T Global Network Client - a cleanup tool

Annoying problems while reinstall AT&T GNC (v8.x) ...
... now less problematic !

Hints for solving problems occuring while using AT&T GNC:

Sometimes strange things happen, even if you're just using your VPN client like every day before (and nothing happened):

- Error Codes appearing without obvious reason while starting the client

- You was able to dial in, but now you aren't able to that...
- Access Point / Phone directory can't updated anymore...
- Some strange DLL messages appearing while starting the client...

What can you do ?

a) Try to delete the (hidden) configuration data directory
or
b) Try to reinstall AT&T GNC

VERY IMPORTANT: If you're trying to un- and re-install it, always reboot after each setup operation (after uninstall and also after install). This is related with the Windows driver removal/installation.

Also important: If a reinstallation is not successful, try to uninstall it and delete all traces from it. That means you have to delete registry keys, driver files, above mentioned config directory and also the program directory.

Because these last described steps are obviously painful (if made manually), I wrote a small (Delphi) program which helps to do it automatically.
It also checks if something seems to be wrong after uninstalling.

You can get the source code too, just write me an email.

Here's the program itself (you do not need to install it, just run it):
